Bolton have completed the signing of Lee Chung-yong from FC Seoul on a three-year contract.
A deal was struck some time ago and the transfer has now been finalised after the South Korea international was granted a work permit and received international clearance.
The details of the agreement have not been disclosed but it is understood that Lee has arrived for a fee of around £2.2million. The 21-year-old becomes Bolton's fifth summer signing and could now go straight into the squad for Saturday's home game against Sunderland.
However, Megson is likely to choose the cautious route in my opinion after saying, "It will take time for him to settle", and "It is going to be a big challenge for him because he is coming to a new country and a new culture and he will be facing the demands of the Premier League.
Lee would be ready for action though as he is fully match fit since FC Seoul's season kicked off some weeks ago nor is he suffering from jet lag.
Lee's arrival has been long anticipated by fans and it would be a huge boost to Wanderers if he can show the same form for Bolton as he did at his former club.
